Class and papers

April 29, 2010 (Thursday)

Today we had our central required classes.  After the classes I came back for lunch.  I decided to head to New Look for some clothes, when I was online before they had some good discounts, but when I got there I think I came too late.  They had a lot of things that I would have liked to of bought, but as I was on a budget, in a way, or needed Not to spend money I only bought a few things.  I got a cardigan and a clutch that was only 5 pounds :)  I was pretty happy with that purchase.  I headed back to my room of residence and I worked on papers for the rest of the day.  I wanted to try and get them done so I could spend time with my parents while they were here.  (in the end it didn't work too well though, unfortunately)  The time is slowly getting nearer to the end.  It is going to be one of the those bittersweet moments when I leave.

Girls' Night

April 28, 2010 (Wednesday)

I had class this morning, and then my art class.  The two other girls in my Victorian London class and myself skipped that class to do girls night with the others in the house.  We dressed up and were going out to eat.  I went with Kylie, Carissa, and Allison.  We ended up walking to Tiger Tiger, which is on the other side of St. James Park.  We were the first ones to arrive so we waited for the other girls.  When others finally arrived we were seated and decided what we wanted to eat.  Since it was a Wednesday night there were half off dinners and drinks until a certain time.  I ended up getting a chicken caesar salad and something to drink, I can't quite remember.  I had a good time.  It was nice to just listen to people's conversations and hang out with some of the girls I hadn't talked to too much throughout the semester.  When everyone was done eating Kylie and I headed back to Vandon House while the rest of the girls danced and drank some more.  The rest of the night was just hanging out in the room, working on homework and talking with Joe.  Parents are arriving in a few days!!!
