Back to class

April 14th

Ah, Wednesday, how I have not missed these days full of class.  I arrived to fictions of the U.S.A. having finished our book, Tracks.  The teacher is giving us two weeks to finish so we don't technically have to have it done until next week.  I was the only one out of two people to have finished the entire book.  Thank you ridiculous late boarding flights.  This book was about Native Americans, it was interesting to say the least.
For art in London we headed to the National Gallery again, we got to see some Degas, Monet, Manet, among others.  Some of my favorite artists.  I love Degas, mostly because he does ballet pictures, but I love the colors that the impressionists use.  Soft colors, just my thing.  I am a girl of pastels.  I like my bright colors at time, but I do enjoy the softness that the pastels bring to things.
Next was Victorian London, oh what a joy.  Still not sure how I feel about that class.  I was hoping it would have to do with Queen Victoria, wrong.  It is still interesting to learn about what was going on while she was Queen.  It is weird to learn about how people lived.  Especially in the East End.  Sanitation was horrible, the Great Stink happened, which brought those richer people out to actually fix the problem.  Anyway, I will stop boring you with my Victorian London class.
I only have about a month or so left in London, it is/has gone by so fast, make it stop please.  Thanks.  Everyone should know how the rest of my night went.  I got back from class and I sat around in my room.  Nothing too new with my nights ;)

Cheers
