As the world sleeps

Ah, Monday.  The first day of the week that I start school.  Of course, I only have classes on Wednesday and Thursday, but boy will Wednesday probably kill me.  I'm not sure I've told you my Wednesday schedule yet, I probably have.  Too bad, here it is again.  I have class at LMU in the mornings, then in the afternoon have to go somewhere in London to an art gallery, then back to LMU for a night class.  The directors told me it would be about a 12 hour day.  Bring it on!  (kind of)  I'm sort of scared and at the same time excited.  I haven't been really busy in a while, literally.  Since school let out last December I haven't done a lot.  Which I think I've already said, oh well.
As for my Monday, I did something!  By myself, I may add.  After sleeping in of course, I showered, sat around for a little bit then headed down to make some lunch.  I used my mature cheddar cheese and made a grilled cheese.  It wasn't too bad.  After I ate lunch I headed to the post office to mail a card, then I went to Marks and Spencer to see what they had there.  Not a lot, really.  I headed back to VH to see where else I would go for the day.  I decided to go to the Embankment station and sort of follow in the footsteps of the last time we went.  I took a slower walk through the park and got some pictures.  But, I only took pictures in the park :s

Cleopatra's Needle (Egypt wants back but they're not getting it)

Fountain, monument, and Cleopatra's Needle

This may be the name of the park :s
I eventually found my way to Covent Garden, such a nice place.  I walked through the antique market they have on Monday's, they have very interesting, nice things.  I saw something my dad may like but I didn't get anything yet.  Wanted to ask my mom first ;)  Then I headed to part of the theatre district.  I got a little lost on the way, I took a wrong turn.  I wanted to walk down the same street we had walked before.  I found it though.  I looked at some books, went into a book shop that hat a lot of first editions or second editions.  Those were very expensive so I didn't stay long.  I then headed out of the street and decided to go into the National Portrait Gallery.  I saw the new picture of the Prince's William and Henry.  I wasn't sure if we could take pictures so I didn't :(  Otherwise I would have a picture posted below.  Maybe I'll go back.  I then went upstairs to the tudor section.  I saw pictures of Henry VIII and Elizabeth, as well as some of his wives and of course Bloody Mary.  If you don't know who that is, it would be Queen Mary, the one who killed a lot of Protestant's and I believe had Lady Jane Grey killed as well.  I saw a picture of Samuel Johnson, he wrote the dictionary, one of many that is.  Then saw some drawings of Lady Jane Grey, I am not sure if she was queen, but if she was it was for nine days.  I should read up on that.  I looked at many other pictures, but my feet and back were starting to hurt.  I'll most likely go back.  I headed back to VH where I warmed up my noodles and chicken, yes I did eat leftovers.  Later at night I finally got to webcam with Morgan and we caught up and I Finally got to talk to Rachel and ask her about when she comes out and when she'll leave and such.  Hopefully tomorrow is somewhat productive too.  Cheers
