I am the master of my fate

Monday I actually got up in time to eat breakfast.  I had set my alarm for 9:30 but Kiley had gotten up so I was awake and decided that I should probably eat.  I had a bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice, which is a little different than in America.  I do enjoy their apple juice though.  I came back upstairs, showered and got ready for my day.  The comb I had bought two weeks ago here I had left in Liverpool, at least that's what I think.  So I went to Boots, got a pocket comb, a tiny brush and shampoo and conditioner (that should last me a very long time!).  I then headed across the street to Sainsbury where I got myself some bread, 4 packs of tortellini and some tomato sauce.  I made some tortellini for lunch, so good, and I read maybe a page of my homework for Wednesday.  The book is The Story of Art, it is very big, literally.  After lunch I started some laundry, and dare I say, watched The Twilight Saga: New Moon.  First off, it was free, and Bella is kind of annoying in this movie, but that's beside the point.  I finished laundry, woo-hoo!  And finished the movie.  I watched The Young Victoria, which is a movie about Queen Victoria.  I thought that it was a very good movie and I'm glad I finally saw it.  During the movie I was also on Wikipedia reading up on Queen Victoria and also her husband Prince Albert (Prince Consort).  Very interesting, they got shot at many times by people, and what I thought was interesting one of the first times they were shot at I read no one was hurt but in the movie Prince Albert had gotten hit.  Oh well, maybe to make it more exciting :)  I love the history of Britain and the Kings and Queens who have ruled.  Mostly Queen Elizabeth, Henry VIII daughter, not the current one.  Though I have nothing against Queen Elizabeth II, she's had a very interesting life as well.  I am very excited for my Victorian London class, especially after watching The Young Victoria, though I don't think we'll actually be learning about her, but none the less.
For supper I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich and had some grapes.  The grapes are kind of big and so delicious.  Later that night i got to talk with my parents and catch up a little bit with them.  Always fun.  I still have about a month before I head back to Iowa for literally 2 1/2 days for my brothers wedding.  Then Rachel will be heading back to London with me.  I'm excited for her to come and show her around a little bit.  When I'm not in class all day ;)  I am thinking we might take a day trip to Paris the Monday after we get back to London.  Which will kind of stink because we'll be so tired.  Maybe I should just try stick with my London schedule while back home.  Which will actually be a little impossible with my busy Friday.  After talking with my parents on skype and other people I headed off to bed.  A somewhat eventful day.

I am getting anxious for my classes on Wednesday.  I've had busy days before but I've usually be in walking distance of the buildings or haven't left the building (high school).  Wednesday I have about six different tube rides.  Wish me luck!  Cheers

  1. Firstly, I'm glad to hear you're feeling well enough to eat, that is very good news. Secondly do they have pear juice in london? I have some here and it is quite tasty, which brings me to point number three: Taylor Lautner's body. Wow. Good luck with your crazy schedule, sounds like you might want to keep some liquer around after a day like that, just don't have too much...
