One day left before I see the sunshine!

March 31st

Since it is spring break for all schools, except silly Central College London program (curse you), I didn't have my LMU classes.  I enjoyed sleeping in this morning and eating breakfast at my regular 9:00am hour instead of leaving around 9am for class.  I had errands to run this morning and packing to finish.  It was another cold morning, silly rain storm, but I made it out anyway.  I headed to a bureau de change place so I could change some of my pounds into euros.  I then headed down the road to Boots to pick up some things for my trip.  I headed back to VH where I wrote a letter and then went down the street to buy a British flag badge I was then going to sew onto a shirt.  I sewed on the badge and ate my lunch.  Then Carissa and I walked to the Royal Academy of Arts for our art class, which was going to see The Real Van Gogh exhibition!  We had about two hours to walk through that.  It was extremely crowded, as it was one of the last days to attend the exhibit.  The exhibit contained many of his paintings as well as sketches and letters he wrote to his brother.  Very brilliant, I loved it.  You never get to see that side of someone, at least no usually, so it was really a treat to see.  I found one of my new favorite paintings while at the exhibit.  It is called The Sower.
The Sower
This one doesn't do justice to the one I saw, but the colors he used were so vibrant and excellent.
After the exhibit I walked back to VH and then headed to the post office to mail the shirt and letters to Morgan.  I then headed back to VH for the night where I made supper and watched some telly and of course finished packing.  I did it though, I packed all my things into one tiny suitcase and my backpack, which I made sure I did not over stuff.  Tomorrow I leave for Greece!  Wish me luck (even though it's passed :s haha)  For the past week I have also been debating whether to skip seminar, just so I don't miss my flight or are even late to it.  I had asked the teacher if I could go to the 11am seminar, but would get me leaving a little after 12.  That might be a little late.  I'll figure it out tomorrow!  Cheers
