March 28th
The night before when Kiley arrived back she invited me to go with her, Allison and Carissa to church at St. Paul's Cathedral. I'm said I would come, since it isn't every day you can go to service there, well since I live here I am sure I could, I just don't. We headed to the church, it was a bit cold when we left this morning. We arrived and were told to meet in the square if we were there for service, this is about the time I realized it was Palm Sunday or I maybe realized that a little earlier. We waited in the nearby square for a while before the processional started arriving. They had two real donkey's, the priest's, the choir, and a whole bunch of school children carrying palm leaves. We also got palm trees folded into a cross, very awesome. They did some talking and singing and we finally headed into the cathedral. I had been in St. Paul's a couple times before but those times were very short visits and I didn't see all of the cathedral. This time I didn't get to see all of it either, but much more than I had before. It is beautiful in the cathedral. We sat through the service and took communion when it was time. When the service was finally over we headed out and back to VH. Since it was still pretty cold outside I made sure not to venture out again today. When we got back I made some lunch and did laundry for the rest of the day. This is when I realized I have too many clothes that I need to hang up. I felt bad for Kiley because my jeans and shirts were everywhere. We have turned our bathroom tub into a drying rack, as well as the ledge in front of our window. I also use the chairs to hang things on. We'll see if that changes the next time. I only have a couple more times to wash clothes in this place, thank goodness! I can't wait until I have free laundry again! Cheers
